3.) Media Technologies - iPhones / Smart Phones

iPhones/Smart phones are an instant technology that is commonly used as a media technology. Referring to these devices as phones is somewhat misleading because they have evolved into a product that is much more than just a cellular phone.  Those who use a smart phone are able to rely upon a great many products all within one small device.

iPhones and Smart Phones allow a user to record events, take photos, text/email information and search the Internet.  All of these products are offered in one small device and allows a smart phone user to instantaneously communicate to others.  The convenience and efficiency of these devices are the largest reason why many consumers wish to purchase an iPhone or Smart phone.

If individuals are on the go and need to quickly gather information regarding a specific topic, they are able to access the desired information from any location, adding to the efficiency of the product.  Being able to record on an electronic device such as this provides an opportunity to record a specific event or behavior and quickly forward the documented event to any type of location.

Technology, such as the smart phone, has drastically changed the face of society and how quickly information can be communicated to the masses.  iPhone and smart phones can make it possible to live in a fast paced world while still remaining close to family and friends.  With only a few clicks, a user can research a topic, communicate with family and friends and remain on task with a readily available calendar of events.
